Who can apply for Real Estate NQF Level 4?
This Qualification is for any individual who is or wishes to be involved in the property and real estate industry, students who wishes to embark on career in Real estate or individuals looking at making a passive secondary income. Services SETA governs, controls and monitors education standards.

Matriculation or Equivalent:
Applicants should typically have completed their matriculation (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification. This ensures that candidates have a basic educational foundation.
Language and Math Proficiency
Many institutions require applicants to have passed Mathematics and a 2nd South African language at a Matric level. This is a common prerequisite for enrolling in NQF Level 4 Real Estate courses.
FFC (Fidelity Fund Certificate)
To qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or exemption from certain course components, candidates may need to have held a Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) for a minimum of 12 months. An FFC is required for practicing as a real estate agent in South Africa.
Interest in Real Estate
Applicants should have a genuine interest in the real estate industry and a desire to pursue a career as a Property Practitioner.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Candidates who are eligible for RPL may complete the qualification in a shorter duration. The exact duration will depend on the individual’s prior experience and qualifications.

Course Duration

If a student enrolls in a
full-time NQF Level 4 Real Estate course, it
typically takes one year to complete. This duration
may vary slightly based on the Golden Tiger Learning
Academy and the PPRA academic calendar and course
scheduling for the PDE 4 exam.
